hockey team was selected by the United States Amateur Hockey Association to represent the United States at the 1928 Winter Olympics. However, the American Olympic Committee, led by Douglas MacArthur, refused to certify the team due to the lack of Olympic trials. As a result, the United States did not have an Olympic hockey team in 1928.
