Bellarmine competes in 25 intercollegiate varsity sports: Men's sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, sprint football, swimming, tennis, track & field and wrestling; while women's sports include basketball, cross country, field hockey, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track & field, volleyball; and co-ed sports include cheerleading and dance.
Bellarmine sponsors five sports that are not sponsored by the ASUN, one of which will become an ASUN sport in July 2021. The men's lacrosse team, the only NCAA Division I lacrosse team in Kentucky, is a member of the ASUN's relaunched men's lacrosse league.
