Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union; the Joy (Proctor) Krautschun Alumni/Foundation Welcome Center; Crow Peak Residence Hall, remodel of Jonas Science Building, and a new residence for the university's president. In October 2022, an expansive remodel of the E.Y. Berry Library was completed.
Laurie S. Nichols was named the 11th President of Black Hills State University in December 2019.
