== Organization and administration ==
Cal Poly at Pomona is one of three polytechnics in the 23-member California State University system. The CSU system is governed by a 25-member board of trustees, including one faculty trustee, one alumni trustee, and two student trustees, and has authority over curricular development, campus planning, and fiscal management. The university system is currently governed by Chancellor Mildred García, who assumed the office in 2023.
The chief executive of the Cal Poly Pomona campus is Interim President Iris S. Levine.
