1985, the college moved from Bank Street to 325 Central Avenue.
In 2003, the college changed its name to The College of Westchester and was also granted accreditation by Middle States Commission on Higher Education, a regional accreditor, that same year.
The College of Westchester is accredited by The Middle States Commission on Higher Education, an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
