that make up the Battalion. Officially founded in 1919 and with roots tracing to the 1890s, it is one of the oldest such programs in the nation. After completing the Army ROTC program, LU students receive a commission in either the Regular Army, Army Reserve, or National Guard. LU Crew is a group of students that meet to promote school spirit at home athletic events and other special events. LU Crew can be seen at sporting events with signs, starting cheers, and various other activities in the student sections and stands.
Sibley Day has been held since 2009 and is a new tradition at Lindenwood. The event includes special events and activities for students and faculty, guest speakers, presentations, and other social and educational activities. Past guest speakers has included: Arun Gandhi.
