Undergraduate admission is described by U.S. News & World Report as "more selective". Princeton Review gave the university an admissions selectivity rating of 86. For the 2018–19 academic year the university received 3,294 applications; 63% were admitted. The admitted students’ academic profile showed 75% were in the top 50% of their high school class, SAT scores of 670 in evidence-based reading and writing, 700 in math.
