Freshman admission to the university is based upon a holistic review of a candidate's academic record. Basic requirements are high school performance and any standardized test scores. Admissions decisions are also based on a mandatory application essay, the applicant's resume including special abilities and talents, and the applicant's high school and extracurricular record.
