First, the Registrar compiles lists of students in the top 15% of their classes based on GPA, separately for juniors, seniors, and graduate students based on their college. Juniors are those having completed 60-89 credits; seniors 90+ credits; graduate students at least 18 graduate credits. Then, the honor society solicits nominations from current ΑΣΝ members, including faculty, staff, and student members, who have received the list of students in the top 15% of their classes. The chapter coordinator and faculty advisor compile the nominations. The student officers review the nominations and make selections of student nominees. The faculty advisor provides guidance on the selection process. Student selections are sent to the deans of the respective colleges for review.
