The school is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. The Passan School of Nursing undergraduate baccalaureate program in Nursing is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership within the College of Business and Engineering has several business degree plans and includes one of the most popular undergraduate majors, management. Select undergraduate programs of the Sidhu School are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. In 2024, all graduate and undergraduate programs in the Sidhu School received accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
For over fifty years, Wilkes University has hosted a federally funded Upward Bound program on campus starting in 1967. It is a program for low-income and first-generation students with college potential and aspiration to prepare for college.
