In 2021, Calvin University had approximately 3,307 students, 54% female and 46% male. The average class size was 23 and there was a 13:1 student/faculty ratio. Michigan residents comprised 55% of the student body and 12% of the students were from other countries. 224 full-time faculty taught at the college and 90.6% had obtained the terminal degree in their field.
