===工程师的帽子===
1890 年左右，作为毕业庆祝活动，矿业学院的毕业生获得了“工程师”帽子。这些帽子是工程师在地下工作时戴的，每当矿山的访客想要与工程师交谈时，他们就会被告知去找那个戴着滑稽帽子的人。如今，毕业生会收到两种版本的工程师帽子之一，并在毕业时签名和烙印。
