The original four buildings and an accompanying cafeteria were named after university alumni who were killed in World War II, as was a fifth building added in the mid-1960s. As newer student housing was built, use of the Quadrangle was phased out. All but two of the buildings – now used by university offices and student organizations – were razed and replaced with a parking lot in the late 2010s.
