In 2015, the College of Veterinary Medicine moved its teaching hospital to a new off-campus facility, leaving its previous building available for research and other uses. In September 2017, UGA used a combination of private and public funds to complete the second of three phases to build the Terry College of Business complex. In 2020 the university concluded its fundraising campaign, after raising $1.45 billion.
