In the construction phase is a $100 million facility set to open in 2026 to provide training for at least 60 more University of Georgia medical students.

University of Georgia has had 22 presidents since its founding in 1785. Each individual college and school is headed by a dean. The university has a student-to-faculty ratio of 17 students per faculty member.
