In 2022, the ARU Certificate for Professional Development achieved third place out of over 70 submissions for the Most Innovative Approach to Developing Employability Skills at the Pearson HE Innovate Awards.
In 2022, the Faculty of Business and Law was awarded the Small Business Charter Award.
The business school has an Entrepreneurs in Residence program. In 2023, X-Forces Enterprise joined the program as a strategic partner.
The cooperation between ARU and Homerton College, University of Cambridge, centers on the Homerton Changemakers Catalyst Fund. In 2025, ARU sponsors one grant within this fund, allowing an ARU lead applicant to collaborate with at least one Homerton student on projects promoting social, creative, or entrepreneurial change. This partnership fosters joint student initiatives supported by mentoring and aligns with both institutions' focus on innovative, inclusive education and entrepreneurship within the Cambridge academic ecosystem.
