Hofstra maintains a test-optional policy for admissions. For the cohort entering in 2023, 35% of enrollees submitted test scores and the average scores for the SAT were 1230–1410 and for the ACT were 27–33. Hofstra admitted 62% of applicants with enrolled students having an average 3.7 GPA.
